Privacy Policy
My Recipes is a personal recipe saver app. It is designed to store your recipes locally on your device.
Information We Store
My Recipes lets you create and save recipe information such as titles, notes, ingredients, cooking steps, prep time, cook time, servings, categories, tags, favorites, archived recipes, grocery checklists, and optional recipe photos.
This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server for this app, and we do not collect, sell, or share your recipes.
Photos
If you choose to attach a recipe photo, the app asks for permission to access your photo library. Photo access is used only so you can choose images to attach to recipes. Your selected photo references are stored locally with your recipes.
You can remove a photo from a recipe by editing that recipe.
Data Collection
My Recipes does not collect personal data from you and does not transmit your recipe content to us.
The app does not use advertising, tracking, analytics, or user accounts.
Data Sharing
My Recipes does not share your recipes or personal data with third parties.
If you use the app's share feature, your device opens the native share sheet and you choose where to send the recipe text. Sharing is controlled by you.
Data Retention and Deletion
Recipes remain stored locally on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app from your device.
If you delete the app, your locally stored recipes may be deleted by the operating system. My Recipes does not currently provide cloud backup or account syncing.
Children's Privacy
My Recipes is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any updates should be reflected in the version of the policy made available for the app.
